Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Wait I thought of another question. Is it ok to dose magnesium and calcium at the same time or should I do one in the morning and one in the evening or does it even matter. Sorry sometimes I tend to over think things especially when my brain is on steroids. Lol
I dose mine all at the same time. I'd never remember to do it more than once a day.

Dang I forgot to dose magnesium today lol

So I got everything transferred over but haven’t mounted anything. I just wanted to get it in the new tank.

Lights are almost out so it’s quite blue!

Looking great brother! What a task for one day. Are all of the euphyllia getting mounted on the rocks?

That’s the plan so far. I need to sit back and stare at it though, it’s like painting a picture
It makes it a lot easier to put something beautiful together when you start with the insane collection of corals you have. I hope you love it when it's done!

It is probably okay but I always separated Ca and Mg by an hour or so, but now I dose AFR which contains Ca and Mg and I dose extra Mg seven minutes after the AFR. You may want to check out this article that was just posted today.

I think it would only be a potential problem if you mixed them together before dosing.

Why 7 minutes Tom?

I like them a little apart and my Smart Doser 2 has a built in function to offset the second line by seven minutes to the first line. I just like them at least a couple minutes apart to allow the Ca to disperse before adding the Mg.

Makes complete sense to me, my friend. My OCD shows up every once in a while and I like 7's lol. Volume increments, minutes, seconds etc. Lol it just struck home with me a bit.

Thank you! I will take a look at the article later today.
