Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
John, where did you find that branching cyphastrea you had?
I got that one from GW corals on ebay when I got my crazy plate also. Ive been seeing a lot of them on reefnbid but they're small. I haven't checked lately, but corals.com had some bigger mini colonies in the past as well.

My nitrates and phosphate are off the chart. Consulted my LFS's owner (who actually makes his living caring for other people's tanks). He guessed it's because of overfeeding and possibly from introducing phyto before the fertilizer is processed. I need to analyze the phyto before adding anymore and I guess do a major water change. I already had the kids start feeding less. I struggle with the Hanna reagent packets, so I bought Salifert from the LFS
That's good thinking about the fertilizer. This didnt occur to me Wes.

Thank you for sharing this Kevin. If you get to talk to him again, please let him know that he and his family are in my prayers.
For sure Tom, he pops in occasionally and does some reading but I definitely will!

Thank you buddy! I wanted it to colorful and almost hard to look at. Im still working on that part lol
Looking at all that beauty could never be hard to look at my friend!

with a side of... Pepto Bismal

I will admit that it does cause me to become a fire-breathing dragon, but is it SO worth it. When we were expecting River, sometimes I would take milk or almond milk to the restaurant with me so I could still enjoy the salsa verde.

Ugly fish, but I need him lol. It belonged to my dad and it got rid of an aiptasia infestation he had. The problem is that when there were none left, it started eating corals, mainly zoanthids and a toadstool. I plan to keep an eye on him until it's finished off all the aiptasia and then get rid of him. I need a CBB again.

I just saw him eating corals at my dad's house lol, I don't even want it in the tank but I need it right now, I have too many aiptasia and I don't want the situation to get out of hand, imagine how desperate I am that I put him in my tank lol

Hopefully he will go after the aiptasia and leave your beautiful corals alone.

My heart is heavy reading some of the things friends and loved ones are facing. Praying for protection and peace for Remi and his family, as well as your son-in-law, @Rocks reef, and all innocent parties caught in the crossfire.

Spring is in the air! (Not because of the weather, but because Bailey has been put to work fixing up the back porch)
