The tank never looks better than right after a water change! I also LOVE this color mix a lot. You can still see all the detail, but the coral ia right out there front and center, slapping me in the face! Gorgeous work my friend

I have been thinking, i am using the Reefbreeders meridian on my AIO build, I do have a Orphek Icon Natura still in the box in my closet, I was thinking of mapping my PAR on my corals and removing the two NP K7 pros on my 40 breeder and mounting the Orphek,

I'm going to place them on a rock at the base of my rocks they will be to far from other corals to dying them I think.

That is a beautiful selection! That has to be the smallest scoly Ive ever seen Amanda, but such an amazing color. Careful to keep it from getting buried.

I don't have any fish that move sand right now so it should be good until the weekend or maybe tomorrow I will place them depending on how my back is feeling after work.

They tend to like a lot less light than favia. Id say probably the quickest way to loose an acan is too much light. In my experience of talking to many coral farmers, they almost performed shade! Lower light and frequenr feedings are what help them retain their beautiful colors and not fade to a plain red or orange. I've bothered people that I didnt even by from to teach me about corals in the beginning lol.

These are also the folks that convinced me that no matter what one or two people say, keeping appropriate/high levels of magnesium is a huge benefit to lps PE and a deterrent to nuisance algae. Show me thousands of thriving corals and I want to know what you've got to say.
