I have two spots I'm thinking about putting the acans would it be better to put them on rock 1 or rock 2. On one they would be more flat on rock two they would be stuck to the side. These are bother lower light and lower flow areas.

Both are perfect choices. It's just up to you, and where you think they look good. Acans do well placed closely together. If there's a certain color or frag that you want to dominate, give it a little more space and feed it more!
You can also mix in a few zoas layer for filler and color.
