Thanks so much. I'll run this by the husband. But leaning towards it before adding more pets into the tank. This is the angel that I have for them.

Captive bred.
You're welcome! Most people don't care about their own systems as much as you do for this one. So I wish you the best of luck!

You're donating the flame to them? That'll be a beautiful addition for sure.

Oh yes, right up my alley, I enjoy audio gear... what size are you looking for? Bookshelf or towers?

Hey everybody, not an aquarium question strictly speaking, but...
I have set of Rockville speakers I bought when we 1st moved here in 2021. They are definitely blown. My fish are really unhappy that the bass line both sounds terrible and drowns everything else out 😅. They live right by those speakers 😖. Does anyone have a recommendation for speakers that are decent quality, but won't break the bank?
Some of the midern Bluetooth speakers would give you great sound and some versatility. A set of rega bytes would be killer, and so would klipsch. There goes your budget friendly request though 😬

It is dependent on the amp that is driving the speakers and if you're married to the system?

No amp. Sound goes into one speaker which supports the other. The second speaker was so bad that the kids disconnected it and we're just using one side 😒.

Wait so the wire goes from the amp to one speaker, then another wire goes from that speaker to the other?

Wire goes from projector straight to the first speaker
Here's the wire at the projector

Then I guess the 1st speaker has an amp inside? That supports both speakers (shrug). This the connection on the back of the 2nd speaker.

Klipsch have always fought above their weight class in my opinion. I used Klipsch exclusively for decades but they do have a sound profile that is a little different from most of the other manufacturers so I would suggest pop into a Best Buy or whatever and give them a listen before deciding.

I happen to really like the sound of Klipsch, except I think their subwoofers are a little underwhelming.

I am donating the flame and a yellow watchman goby. Darn goby is so shy I can't put it in my other tanks. So he gets to go to the clinics large tank to be adored by children. Husband also said, and I quote: Get what you need.

The clinic pays us well to come clean the tank and change whatever we want. Just ask us to be mindful of cost. They want to keep the tank for their customers and themselves.

I try to do what I can. I threw out all the food they had on hand in the beginning. Nasty old freezer burned stuff. And the flake food. Got them feeding algae and frozen foods. I chop it up and refresh their supply every two weeks. Luckily my husband also loves their tank. He really was upset about losing the Naso tang. He named it Nabisco. And would feed it every time we went to the clinic.

But don't think I will be adding any possibly mean large fish to the tank again. Unless it is the last to go in down the road. And very small in the beginning.
