What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?

hello everyone, have the Boudin Sausage started, going to take a few hours to simmer up. Using Slap Your Momma Cajun seasoning today, I went light on the celery in my trinity, 2.5 lbs. pork shoulder, .5 lbs. chicken liver.

Well my quest to be like John is like a plane on fire spiraling out of the sky. Looks like my second plate won’t make it. I found it like this partially covered by the rfa, half of it is skeleton. I don’t think the rfa did it but another coral. My first one walked right into my large single acan. I posted a video of of on my build thread last night and it was by itself in the sandbed by itself perfectly healthy. Not sure if I’ll get another wanderer.

Ugh sorry to see this Kevin. Fungia are definitely something to get used to with that ability to drift around. A little glue on the bottom of the skeleton and a rock or frag plug will keep it in place. I have some loose ones and some that are anchored down.

Again im sorry this happened Kevin 😢

I think the pictures on the new Samsung take better pictures than the iPhone . I m sure it has to do with the lighting and what’s in front of the pictures
or using digital zoom.

They are very resilient. Move it somewhere safe, there is a pretty good chance it will come back.

Thanks Tom, I was hoping so but so much skeleton, fingers crossed.Thanks.

I have a diaseris plate that the Kleinii Butterflyfish was actively consuming. I set up the frag tank many because I only saw flesh on one small area of the plate after just one day of feasting. The plate now has about ninety percent flesh and is actively feeding. They don't always come back but if it was caused by aggression and not RTN/STN the chances are pretty good.

Thanks John, I was thinking of glueing it to some ruble if I did get another.

Good morning everyone.

Hope you are feeling better Wes.

Amanda, errands, I thought running errands are why we bother to go to work. Weekends are for playtime.

Jimmy, can't wait to see the final product. I've never heard of Boudin Sausage before (sheltered life).

Joel, that dog is just too cute. Hope you are getting some rest.
