My extruded aluminum came in today for the Orphek Icon Natura DIY mount. I hate taking the 2 NooPsyche k7 off, but my 40B is all LPS, and I think it will look better to the eye. Will have to map out my PAR and hope the change is cool with the corals

I like the orphek lights and my corals seem to like the one I have as well.

Actually thought Kevin was taking the day off and complaining from a bad shave . Boy was I wrong . 😑
Well they did say they had to shave a little to put the pressure bandage on, we’ll see when I take it off Sunday.

I found this guy a little bit ago, its claws scream no beuno. I tried to grab him with a net but it went under the rock. Looks like I’ll need to make a trap. To bad I had butter melting in the microwave.

He looks like he might dip you in butter instead of you dipping him...

I have these jugs from doing pods (Walmart I think), lid did not want its picture taken, drilled a hole in top beside the opening. I run the air about the same as pods, one bubble about every second. hatch the shrimp in a tall container, don't take many eggs, just a pinch. shine a flashlight at the bottom after hatch, I use a 1/4 inch acrylic tube with a rubber bulb on it to suck up a bunch of the fry. Add the fry to your premixed saltwater in the jug. Would not worry about feeding until the next day. Then add some phyto to the water for the fry to feed on. I have been using saltwater flake fish food that I ground into powder to feed the adults after about 2 days, Just a pinch goes a long way. they are a week old in the vid. They are reproducing in the jug. I sit a flashlight by the spicket for about 5 min. before opening it to collect some of the shrimp. i add them to the tank between feedings. I tend to add a little phyto every couple of days since there is fry in the jug

My first two batches I only tried feeding the powdered spirulina and they didn't make it this time I added phyto and some crushed fish food like you are doing and they seem to be growing.

The crush food if you can crush really fine almost like a powder and they will eat it .

I just take the flakes and crush them between 2 fingers until a powder, real easy . they don't seem picky
