Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Hey, me too! I put that up during college football season and then delete it, I don’t know why it’s still there?
I would see a flash of it every once in a while, then I finally figured out how to trigger it. Lol that's odd, and funny.

Seems like I heard reef roids were designed for goni's, I use Reef chili or the water from my frozen food feeding to the fish
I put a pinch of Goniopower and rotifers powder in water with some Reef Snow from Brightwell and a touch of Brightwell Nergy+ . I also feed the bigger lps frozen plankton . I used to broadcast feed but the few times I’ve gone direct and it seems to work out better.

That’s ironic. I have never been able to keep Alves for more that a few months. Supposedly have pretty much the same husbandry but no real luck overall.
Yeah, I'm not so sure this is going to be a success either lol, but I've got a lot more reefing experience under my belt now. So here's hoping!

Rotifers powder?! Now that sounds like a winner. I usually broadcast feed a small cube of frozen ones after I spot feed the lps. The powder sounds like a good idea. I wasnt aware that was a thing.

Here’s the ingredients minus the frozen plankton

Well it obviously works! I will get some of the dried roti rotifers.

Brightwell products are awesome! I used their reef snow and microbacter clean to get rid of cyano and finally turn the tide on GHA. The tank looks amazing right now

By the way John is this what you were doing to your tank earlier . I thought you were going to share what you found ? Did it make your tank look clean .

Yes I did go down there, now Im trying to find my way back out!

Kevin, every time I turn my screen sideways on one of your posts, it shows this...

Well haven’t all you been on your best behavior, I’m so proud! Not fare from the hospital is the Youngstown State University football stadium and Jason Aldean is playing in concert that I can hear from my bed. My daughter is there. Well on that note, farewell and good night ladies and nerds!

Good night Orly, those pesky nurses woke me up for vitals!
Hey man, I had no clue. Hope you’re feeling better! Sounds like you’ve had a horrific few weeks.
