Quick rant about stupid people, well one in particular. Pete Hegseth our pea brained Secretary of Defense (War) . Testosterone testing for all the men because we need “manly men “ in the service. If found lacking his preferred level I bet he suggests hormone replacement therapy . I guess he thinks that will create a bunch of super soldiers. Is he going to make them wear Capt America suits next?

No more political rants unless something ever dumber happens, then all bets are off.

Not great, coming up on 3 weeks on Monday, not feeling well this morning, worried about my kidneys. Going to bother my family physician and see if he will send in an order for me to get some labs today and I’ll wait for the results to figure out the next step. I really thought resting for four days would make a difference, beyond frustrating at this point. On brighter news, it’s really smoky outside. My family is boycotting maple syrup! Those rotten Canucks!

This is saddening and maddening. I can only imagine having the patience and understanding that you have exercised with all the doctors. Being a doctor is about the only profession where the customer has to pay for bad/no outcomes of the work the work done.

Kevin…..you know you’re already more vulnerable what the kidney transplant. I hate doctors and the hospital but I would’ve brought me and a filled backpack if I was dealing with that situation. With my history of Afib and the Pulmonary Embolism last year, even with taking all my meds makes me more susceptible to continued issues. I went to the ER once with labored breathing that made it impossible sleep(fluid buildup, pretty common.Hence lasix) and almost convinced myself to go again not more than a n]month ago . I don’t want a dead friend, capiche?
