Ya, she was our athlete, softball from 5yo to 18 yo. Clean up hitter and pitcher/firstbaseman. Travel ball from 11-18 yo. Along with pitching and batting coaches the whole time. She dragged me to a lot of college show cases. Beginning of her junior year she had 3 college invites , went to the first one and the coach told her she was the youngest she had ever asked to play for her and to come back the beginning of her senior year and stay a weekend with the softball team in the dorms. A week later she told me she didn’t want to play ball in college! I said she could have told me 10’s of thousands of dollars ago. She did get a full academic degree at Youngstown State University.

That's great stuff Kevin! Congrats to her for staying so disciplined and achieving so much! A lot of people don't realize how much of a sacrifice the parents make too!

And good afternoon everyone. I’ve decided after the last few busy days and weirdness that is work to just chill out on my iPad , mostly watching random YouTube videos. Case in point-

Steve what are you using for Manganese and Iron ?

So. 5 gallons changed. I’m probably going to change again tomorrow, just not so much. Turned the lights a little lower to se if my currently troublesome Gonis respond +. Moved wavemaker to slightly upper center back. Just didn’t really like flow. During this the wrasse jumped into the back chambers while doing that. Was able to get it back into display easily but it looked traumatized and is currently hiding. Blenny sighting! Apparently spending its time in the back of the tank. Is eating at least some of the nuisance weeds as I saw it do it’s blenny thing. And the chromis is bopping about the tank . My cat keeps jumping on top of the tank as she thinks it’s a potential kitty toy(chromis).
One thing I’ll say, is that the blenny is really hard to see except on the sand. Excellent camo outfit.

Well in the past I’ve used the 2 little fishies product, but it was hard to locate something in stock so I went with Brightwells iron supplement and concentrated Manganese. Can find both easily on Amazon.

I use brightwell for alk , cal , mag , and phosphate-E . I’m pretty acclimated with bright well and so far have been pretty happy . I have aqua forest labs for manganese but I haven’t been treating for iron . Could that be my problem for not having success with goni’s ?

These guys had no discrete manganese or iron. Maybe I just got lucky. From 2 yrs ago when I still had the big tank.
