I’m not a Hunter but am happy to eat any venison ( that’s deer meat Amanda) anyone prepares for me. I know the last few years people are able to take one buck and multiple does per season. Population has exploded.

Several places to buy Venison, Elk, and Buffalo, in town.
If you ever try ground elk hamburgers you may never go back to regular beef, its that good.
I use ground Buffalo in place of ground beef most of the time.

Most places that Ive hunted across the country that didnt allow for the killing of does had the worst deer populations. Im not sure why 2 and 2 havent been put together more often there.

Through most of the 90's I hunted Javalina with a handgun. We hunted around the Stafford area.
I never saw so much wildlife anywhere I have hunted.
Heards of deer 200+, elk, mountain lion, bear, the list goes on.

Ooh, how was that bacon!?!?!? As a kid I used to hunt the fierce chupacabra with a slingshot! They weren’t good eating so I practiced kill and release for the sport of it.

Ooh, how was that bacon!?!?!? As a kid I used to hunt the fierce chupacabra with a slingshot! They weren’t good eating so I practiced kill and release for the sport of it.

I had most of it made into jerky since they are so small.
No bacon, lol.

Actually no rifles in Ohio, shotgun with deer slugs is the most popular and then probably bow.

Got a good deal at Uber Eats 2 for ones on both chic tenders and this cheeseburger and onion rings.
Had the first for breakfast now time for lunch

I'm not a hunter either but I think the restrictions on hunting are rather silly. I'm sure that in many states hunting season will only allow bolas and tasers sooner or later.

Deer season:

When I lived in Fountain Hills it would have been feasible to hunt Javelina with a deringer they were so plentiful.

I've never done the HAM hunt for javelina. Black powder and archery.
