Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Oh jeez John! I would have ordered you a seahare. Berghia not doing their job?
Very slowly Kevin. By time I could afford them, they had gotten really bad. I dont have a zoa left that's open in my zoa garden. I definitely wish the lfs had a sea hare. Id even give him back to them when he was done!
It's hard to look at 😬

Oh man, I am so sorry John, I loved her and I know you did as well. It will get better, in over 20 years of doing this I’ve lost a lot of prized corals but I came out the other side and you will too.

Pm me your address and I’ll order you one right now John, I’m serious. Let’s turn this around starting this week!

Wait…

Did you treat the tank with anything?
Only way aiptasia or GHA can kill a coral is if it overgrows it.
You have a recent, as like now, pic of your tank?
No I havent added anything that wasn't natural, Rock.
A lot of the aiptasia is gone now. The berghia are kicking it into high gear.

Ok, a couple zoas are open lol.

Not telling you what to do but it wouldn’t hurt now to try the peppermint shrimp and tuxedo urchins or get Kevin to loan you his algae slug . Well you still have to worry about the coral but you’re loosing them now . I don’t know , maybe I’m wrong
Im giving the berghia a chance before I get the shrimp but im definitely open to that. I have two urchins and a billion snails lol. All the snail do is stay on the glass and GROW algae!

I got an urchin, many turbo snails and a 3 day black out while manually removing a bunch. That’s what did it for me. For aiptasia I used peppermint shrimp.

Ooh but mantis shrimp seem fun.
I’ve had them a few times. One particular was fun to watch . All he/it/she did was eat frozen from what could tell
