Saw this yesterday at the LFS.
Over 12" across. They had a slightly smaller one for same price.
Have not seen one this big in awhile.
They were very healthy looking.

I too like the deep purple leaves with the bubble gum color. I used to have a dark maroon one near this spot but I had to dig it out because it was close to my gray water out. moved it to the back yard and it has never bloomed because the deer eat it before it gets there. btw, I just ordered a new bow stabilizer bar

I believe the term is "hot house" for that pest! double sided yellow tape works great. funny thing, I once read that since they are attracted to yellow, you can place yellow buckets on your riding mower and they will all follow you up the street to your neighbors house, then leave the buckets there!
