20+ bags this year and next will be all raised.

Raised beds are definitely the way to go. When my wife and I belonged to community gardens Thad’s what we did.

That’s a nice looking pumpy. The Topsfield fair has one of those pumpkin growing contests. The things that they show off are ridiculous. I think one year the winner was around 1100 lbs. That’s a lot of pies me thinks

Yea the world record is over 2K.
Poes are made from specific types. This type is way to stringy for pies. Should get some seeds though.

Maybe! Next year I will polinate around 7/1 for a mid October finish.

Im going to raised beds for less water consumption and ease of maintenance.
Peppers were grown in 6 g's of soil.
I am going to 1 plant per 36×36×12 beds which is over 60g's.
I will do 4 beds with 1 plant each for my hots.
I am going with the Naga Twister
Gator Jigsaw, Black Panther, and a medium Aji Mango pepper.
For a nice mild pepper I grow Hungarian wax. You can eat these right off the vine. A very nice low scoville pepper with a nice flavor.

Sounds great. My wife had sensitivity to hot stuff so we grew red and green bells and did the Hungarian wax several times as well. We both had a love for eggplant so we grew 2-3 varieties of those as well. Best cherry tomatoes ever grew was Sungolds very sweet and somewhat resistant to splitting.
