I need to edit my reminisce as apparently my memory is toast. I looked at the photos again and realized that was not where I saw Cream/Canned Heat. The Palace was set up for Cinerama and couldn't do live performances any longer. The concert was at the Music Hall.

We had ford auditorium in Detroit . It’s amazing how these buildings were built to promote music and song .

I love that its leaves are the red ones. I only planted ones with green foliage this year. What zone are you in?

Really haven’t felt good since the lettuce thing but over the past 10 days I’ve been feeling progressively worse.. I messaged my NP Friday about getting bloodwork called in but she was out. Got the blood work done and I’m anemic and my kidney function was fine worse it’s been yet. Just found out I’m being admitted!

I'm really surprised at how many of these buildings are being preserved and restored. I expected Severance Hall (the home of the Cleveland Orchestra since 1931) to be preserved but I'm surprised the Palace Theater made it because it was closed even before I left Ohio. Even the Cleveland Arcade is somehow still there. I am so glad to see some of these marvelous old buildings are being preserved and renovated around the country.

The last time I went to a movie it was like I was inside a shipping container. We need these old buildings to remind us that things don't have to be minimalistic and laser focused on profit and can exude comfort and style and still be successful.

Exactly they need to be preserved . but to build one would be a fortune . I don’t think they would do it , certainly not with all the ornate designs and furnishing they had back then .
