Only Hang ‘em High? There’s a whole series of Spaghetties there. For a Few Dollars More, Fist Full of Dollars, Two Mikes for Sister Sarah, Good, Bad And the Ugly, high Plains Drifter, Pale Rider etc…

I don't think I could list my favorites too many good ones to choose.

The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance would certainly be on it and Tombstone for a modern one. Probably Winchester 73 and Red River. I guess El Dorado and Rio Bravo not because they're great but because I find them relaxing. Fort Apache, Stagecoach, She Wore A Yellow Ribbon, The Searchers, Rio Grande, Shane, and Big Country for sure. More.

You guys killed it last night with the Western motif. These are the things that bring me back to my childhood as well. Yall forgot one though, and oddly my favorite.

Oddly enough, I posted "3:10 To Yuma" because it was 3:10AM, at the time. Steve ran with the Westerns theme and carried it well.

This post probably won't matter to anyone but me but I'm kind of happy. Posting about 'Grand Prix' the other day and then 'How the West was Won' made me think about the old Palace Theater in Playhouse Square in Cleveland. It was a majestic (I can't think of a better word) theater in the downtown area. It was where I saw both of those movies and the Cream/Canned Heat concert. It is still there and has been renovated. I'm glad, you don't see many places like that anymore. Here is a shot of most ot the seating.

Reminds me a lot of the Rialto Square Theatre in Joliet. I saw many concerts and shows there. And your "majestic" word fits perfectly.

I agree. They did the same in Cleveland to Municipal Stadium. I guess the need for more seating or newer amenities is real but some of those old stadiums held real sentiment. One of my most enduring memories is stepping out of the concessions causeway just in time to see Jim Brown go head first into pretty much the entire Pittsburg defense and pop out the other end to run for a touchdown.

I like that some of the early baseball stadiums are still around. Too bad the NFL keeps pushing for bigger and more expensive stadiums. They are losing the history. One thing Cleveland got right though was they fought to keep the Browns name when the team was hijacked to Baltimore. What in the world are the Cardinals doing in Arizona?

There's always the friendly confines of Wrigley Field.
