Good morning Smorgos!

I took a shot of the Apollo 13 astronaut, Fred Haise statue in Biloxi Ms on the way to work today. This is his home town and he is very much a public figure down here, so they built him a statue on the beach.

The only problem is, the pelicans (which you can see in the background) would sit on the statue's head and well.... poop on it. So they figured they'd weld some spikes to the top of his head. It didnt work, and the grungy, bird poo covered face, with the metal spikes coming out of his head, make for an odd, macabre looking tribute to a hometown hero.

Treating physician agrees that I can be discharged today. Just waiting on nephrology to agree and then I’m out of here! It saves my son from running my slippers up to the hospital for the game tonight!

Coffee time here..
Cut the section of the old tank needed to make the new sump yesterday.
Today gping to cut a new side for the new sump from the old tank and prepare the area's to be glued with Weldon 4 and 16. Then let it dry till tomorrow.
Sump is 3/4 inch thick acrylic.
Have to check my calculations for water drop from display when feeding happens and system shut down or a power outage.

Good Morning John. Those spikes never work. Looks like a wonderful tribute that should maybe have been placed elsewhere.
