Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Kevin text back. He's been through a lot the past couple of days as we know, and is now getting some sleep and rest. I wouldn't worry if he's not on the thread for a little bit, as he tries to catch up on sleep. He says hello and he hopes to.go home tomorrow.

says empty. you finish off the whole thing?

when my grill caught the other day I used one of these. since the kids are getting to an age where they are burning stuff in microwaves (20 minutes? no thats 2 minutes!) etc...I thought they should learn to use it. was going to start a fire in the yard and have them put it out but didn't get to it yet. put a grease fire out with just a couple squirts.

no, just a couple of shots did it, the powder will keep the valve from seating after use, and the pressure will bleed off. Always replace after use

Everybody in tank is fine now. Fed fishies earlier and both clowns were gluttons. Back to being clownish now.
And thanks for the Kev update John.

How is your tank doing ?
Way better CB! The sea hare is an algae eating machine just like Kevin said it would be. The aiptasia is gone. I even noticed some of the beghia made it into the back chambers of my AIO. I've been slowly switching my system to natural saltwater and it has made such a difference. Whatever was going on in my tank in a biological level is turning around since the water swap. Im getting some better color in corals. I lost quite a but of nice stuff, but it's looking up in there! Thanks for asking.

That’s good to hear. I’m still working on mine. Not quite sure what’s off. I need to test. Hopefully tomorrow morning.

Are your corals having an issue Steve? What's going on?

Alive but mostly not super happy. Probably test later when I get home from work do a small WC. Sticking with tap. Gonis were happiest with that before bizarrely.3 Culprits: lighting, flow or chemistry.

@tharbin Have you ever heard of a band called, "The Misunderstood"? Im really digging them. They're definitely unique, and popped up in the mass delirium that is my Spotify algorithm.

Maybe focus on adding some biodiversity? After your move, and things being rehomed and out of water at times, traveling etc. They may have lost some of that biological ability to fight things off and thrive.

Maybe something from brightwells would help

OR (and im going to keep pushing this because one jug of it changed everything for the better in my tank)

Saw that . Just not sure about spending that much even if it is natural “live water”. I want more sand than what was left after clearing out the tank. I’ve been toying with live ocean sand and/or a little bit more live rock. I’ve got a small microbacter bottle that still has stuff in it. Don’t know viable it is however.
