That's actually not the case, unless you just mean a guy at a party that plays the records. I think their talking about artists that compose their own music electronically. I completely understand that it's not for everyone, but it's definitely a unique piece of music that they created, even songs with samples are original pieces.

Now what takes no talent is AI music. That is the devil's work Miss me with that garbage.

I am talking about the DJ-type artists that compose their own music. Don't get me wrong, some of it is very catchy and easy to move to. It's also almost always repetitive.

A really good base line, a decent rhythm, that gets modified a bit from time to time, a bit of random stuff thrown in, a lot of dancing around and flipping switches and enough lasers to take out a small country. I find that it is almost always repetitive once past the first five to ten minutes and some of these things go on for hours.

It just doesn't appeal to me, beyond the first few minutes, as I don't see any real difference between this and AI music. I could do the same thing at home with a few electronic pianos and synths and a bunch of laser projectors, maybe a turntable and an old LP to boot. The people that wrote the rhythms and base line are the artists to me. I tend to think that instruments and vocals still a play a part in music. But then again I don't go dancing all that often anymore either. I guess my bottom line is I would not pay money to go see someone with a bank of electronics and a set of headphones bopping around on a stage.

I thought Ginsberg and Kerouac were the fathers of daddy-o-ism.

Those two are excellent DADA poets, however they cane around decades after Hugo Ball's stage performance of Cabaret Voltaire in 1916, which is historically considered as the first Dada performance. Theh were strongly influenced by his ideas and rejection of traditional music and even vocal communication.

Its that time of year around my way, waiting on the call that's its ready. I go for what we call "soft shine". I do pick up a little of the straight shine and its powerful. nothing illegal, as long as technically no money changes hands. My buddy has been doing it for decades, but since the Master distiller" show came out, he has all kinds of mash and flavors

I grew up shooting squirrels off the still and mash barrels when I was a kid. My Dad's side of the family ran whiskey out of Hancock County Mississippi for decades. That's the same area that Mike from Moonshiners is from. I wonder about that though, because I've never heard of any Cockrells down there. We dont claim him though, either way.

I mean, some people call Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson genius, and maybe they ARE genius songwriters. But I could smoke 8 cartons of cigarettes, and take a beginner acoustic guitar class and out sing them both. In the end it's all a matter of individual taste and what you were exposed to growing up, I believe

Arizona says 40 pounds. They've talked about reducing it to 35 with the newer technology that's out there.

Keep in mind also, a standard 60 pound bow can be turned down to almost 45 and, with a shorter draw length (women's bows are usually 25"-26") would be at the lower end of the weight range.

Oh well, tried to make a joke. I don't think I'd consider them as Dadaists although certainly they were influenced by it. To my thinking Dada kind of emphasized random chaos and rejection of traditions whereas I think Beat was more stream of consciousness with a disregard of norms. I think Beat was less about the rejection of society than a disregard for it.
