I’ll second this. I’ve known DBC before the DBC days(so has Bobby which I think advantage was taken and not by the vendor which is a bit shameful in this situation ). We all know each other from 3 almost 4 yrs back now and I’ll stand by DBC pretty much all the time. I bought from him as a vendor and would gladly do it again.

I’ve used them in Every tank I’ve had for at least part of my rocks and now sand. Very happy. One heads up Mantis shrimp seem to like his rocks, probably related to the zone he harvests from. But the rock is solid stuff. And I’m extremely pleased with the sand. I put almost 4 and a half pounds in on top of the ten I had from Carib Sea and I love it. I think you were the one to suggest the purchase of the natural ocean water and I think I’m going to seeing the response from the same. Lots of shell and bit of old coral skeletons mixed in . I’m from to putting up some pics in a sec that shows how it looks.

GLR is solid John. You could also check out Tampa Bay Saltwater.

Totally agree. I highly recommend a small QT tank where you can observe the rock for "unwanted" guests. Use a red light flashlight at night to help in that endeavor.

I’ve used TBS for a couple add ins of rock. I only used the base rock but can attest to their quality as well. They are a bit backlogged for delivery so you might have wait 2 weeks to almost a month. That’s how popular they are.

I've only done TBS. 100lbs of rock. I think it was 5 boxes. one of the boxes was sopping wet. still make me wonder who's suitcase smelled like low tide and was trying to figure out what happened.

everything was good though. only thing that was tough was airport at like 6pm I think and had to bring two kids etc...was winter so dark too at that hour. but all was good.
