Installed the MP40 on the bottom of the new tank today.
What an improvement in water movement and surface agitation!!!

My wife (Amy)'s tank doesn't get enough love I suppose. I may have the color, but she's got the best system I've ever seen in person. I was trying to film her tube nems, but the camera kept focusing on the pods crawling all over the glass! Watch the second nem. He's grabbing the pods off the glass and eating them. As I was taking this video, I ironically remembered that she took sand and hermits from our local beach and put this tank together, a few years ago, before I had my first reef tank. Hmmm this kind of has me thinking

Thinking, what you gonna do? Got me worried John.

Haha ok that's fair. Your Christmas pictures will be way better than mine though.

New tank plan is most of the SPS will be left side of tank and most of the LPS will be on the right side of tank.
New rock scape is high on left and get lower as it moves to the right.

The new RB meridians have individual panel control. You can have completely different settings on certain areas of your tank. For example one area could be lit for acros, while the very next section could house mushrooms, zoas etc. Im pretty sure you have a light though right?

MP40 on bottom to push water up helps:
1. creates great surface agitation, gas exchange, help with PH and keeps everything suspended so gyres can push it to overflow box..

I think I will place one lower to try this without displacing to much sand. My wrasse would not appreciate it if I blew his bedding away.
