I got the new royal gramma about a year ago, before the upgrade. He has always just stayed in his cave and just dart out at feeding time. Over the last week he has been out and about during the day adding his splash of color to the tank. Wasn’t sure it would ever happen.

One of the prettiest fish in the trade to me. Im glad he finally joined the rest of the crew!

Strangest thing, my original one that I had for almost four years was always out and about even as it was dying with the belly bloat issue.

My seahare has so far refused to eat nori I can put it right in his face and he will crawl right around it. I hope he figures it out soon, there's not a strand of algae left in the tank.

So looks like ma will pass a plug in solar law. I wonder if jackery will do a European system In the US. It covers up to 8 kwh and will push the 1200w per hr the law is saying. for like $2400. It would cover half my electric bill if not more in summer. You can put 2000w of panels on battery and the other 800 on the inverter. Looks like a big win. I could redo do my existing reef setup and this in 10 600w panels . So 4 panels replace 6 I have to get 6 more. Almost done for the day but I hit 8.7 kw today.

This is 24 hr consumption.

No heater use. I'm sitting right at 73.3 f.

Short I didn't check in today I'm really far behind since I was out sick last week and I'm trying to get at least most of the way caught up because I'm leaving early one day for a cardiologist appointment and I'm off Friday because deer season opens Saturday and we are going down Friday to clean up the camper.

Just bought another battery the last I can and. I calculated a 4 year payoff. Hopefully minimal pull for winter and storms now. Another 3.8kwh 10.6 total usable
