What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
So since everyone else is talking about their health - I stayed home/working remotely again today because I'm still coughing up crud.

Yesterday we had our annual health screenings.

They said something about my blood pressure being on the high side (duh! I've had a headache for 4 days now and I'm fairly certain my hip is out again). Other than that, overweight (hello? I'm on the Smorgasbord...). Good cholesterol, good everything else except BMI and blood pressure.

Also had an organ scan ultrasound. Apparently I have gall stones and a couple of smallish nodules on my thyroid but everything else looks good. And they took my blood pressure while there for the organ scan and it was much better.

Skin cancer check completed as well: "Wow you have a lot of moles!". Yep.

Good Afternoon John!
Hello Tom! I'm glad to have read, a little earlier, that you have a public school education as well. That helps to raise the over all average of our collective intelligence significantly😆

I also have a public school education but I may be an exception. I'm fairly certain I was smarter than most of my babysitters - I mean teachers....

Hopefully nothing serious, are the gallstones causing you symptoms Tim?

Not that I'm aware of. I cracked that rib a few years ago and have had some pain there off and on since. Usually only lasts for a few minutes and goes away so potentially that's the stones moving. It's mostly minor though.

You've got this Tim. You can do whatever you have to do to be successful and overcome these things. Today is not the day that I start betting against you.

It’s funny because I really don’t care for Cane’s. We were out of town at a travel softball tournament and the girls got really excited because there was a Cane’s, I had never heard about it but I kinda got excited. I was disappointed, maybe it was the crinkle fries. In all of my public education that is what that’s what they served in the cafeteria and they baked them long enough to warm the outside and left the inside cold and mushy. I heard private schools served hand cut fair fries deep fried until they were crispy golden brown salted and served with malt vinegar and ketchup.
I should be more specific, I hate Cane's fries. Best fries around here are In-n-Out's but only when fresh from the frier. If they cool off just toss them out. MickeyD's are the only fries I've had that are barely tolerable after cooling. I'm probably just used to them because I would keep Smoked Gouda, Summer Sausage (both Hickory Farms of course), fish fillets and McD fries in my glove box to eat between service calls. BTW, if you get the tartar sauce on your tie, just toss it. It is unsalvageable.

But did they get Apple Crisp? I LOVED the Apple Crisp.

Wendy's and Chic Fil A are the fries I enjoy. In N Out, fresh, all day everyday. They're the first things gone from my tray, usually on my way to the table. Once they're not hot and dripping oil they're gross.

Cane's has great chicken. Their fries are good IF dipped liberally in their Cane's Sauce. But I'd rather have Red Robin steak fries in Campfire Sauce myself.

Ya, McDonalds and Arby’s curly fries are my favorite fast food fries, oh, wait, I’ll throw Steaf n Shake’s shoestring fries up there as well.

Arby's curly fries are great but when they get over cooked their too crunchy. I like them still super squishy in the middle. And when you get that one dry that fills the entire fry bag, yes please! Dipped in some horsey sauce....

I went to a Red Robin’s in Missouri about twenty years ago and I remember I liked the food but I can’t remember the fries specifically. We don’t have them around these parts.

The fries are just plain old steak fries. But they have their Red Robin seasoning (probably just Lawry's with a hint of lime and some chili powder added?) and the Campfire Sauce is where it's at

Plus, their sides are unlimited so you can sit down, order a burger and slaw and ask for fries to start then get broccoli for a refill if you want.

I think that was a common problem. I got expelled for a while in the 12th grade for taping my Physics class on my brand-spanking new Wollensak cassette recorder. In my defense my teacher asked me to as I was teaching him Physics during my study hall sessions. That was the reason we went after the Superintendent.

Sounds awesome! I’ll definitely try them whenever I near a Red Robin, I’m intrigued!

If you get a bad one, you will know it. I hope you never do. I had them for decades before I got a whopper.

Delinquent!
