I’ve heard good things about the UNS tanks.
I’m sorry to hear about your cat!

Thanks Rocky. She is hopefully on the mend. I had to put pet pads under her after the anema yesterday. Poor girl. We washed her as best we could without putting her completely in water.She is moving more tonight and eating almost 1/4 cup of chicken today.

Glad to hear positive things about the tanks. It fits the size I want. Almost 16 deep. 5 foot long is a must. Love the angle of the glass seams. More seal inside where I can't damage it!

I have no personal experience with UNS tanks but they have a good reputation. I think they are also beautiful tanks and stands. One of our LFSs cares a very full line of UNS tanks, stands, and add-ons and another carries most of the smaller size tanks and stands. They both speak highly of the tanks.

Can you list your parameters and everything you are dosing or adding? I’m sorry you losing corals

Yeah, I’ve admittedly slacked on that. I wish I had an alternative to tap right now for my main water changes. Starting get tufts every where of that dark green/brown algae. I’ll see about getting a basic set of parameters in the morning when I get home if I’m not too wiped out. I think I might see if there’s an away to hook rodi in basement. If there is I’ll see about getting an inexpensive set up at least to start.

Anyone have any experience with the UNS aquariums? They have a shallow one that is 5' long I am considering. Sadly the white stand is not in stock. But I can wait.

Update on our kitty Sara. She went downhill really fast after the last procedure where they put her under to check in her ears. Dropped down to under 6 pounds in less than a week. Took her to the clinic I clean the large tank. Blood work was inconclusive. Given water under the skin since dehydrated. Took her back in 2 days later for an anema and more hydration. Given a cream to apply inside her ear to help with appetite. Not out of danger yet. But eating more and drinking on her own. Fingers crossed.

Praying for kitty. My folks had a cat Freude, that developed kidney issues/hormone imbalance. One of the things they had to do was give daily subcutaneous water infusions. They really helped. She lived an additional 3 mostly healthy years before passing at almost 20.
