Other than the nipped parts the fish looks great. Eating well and color is good.

It’s going to be impossible to get him out. Also I got clowns going into that tank soon!

Never had one with fin rot but usually you will see blood under the skin and skin looking strange.
Not fin rot here it's nipping.
Your water quality is too good for rot.

I don’t think there is any fungus on it.
