I just picked up a 1/2HP chiller from penguinchillers.com, I was a little skeptical at first since the price is well under the typical 1/2HP unit, it may not be the prettiest unit on the market, but it sure gets the job done, and mine is tucked away where I don't see it so who care what it looks like. It took a lot of searching before I found them, just wanted to share my find with everyone else.

I haven't heard anything about them, like I said it took some searching before I ran across them. I've had my chiller for about 5 months now, I replaced a ecoplus 1/2HP chiller that I had for several years before it stopped working. The new unit seems to run less than my old one - as far as cycling on and off.
