Well it depends you can go with either 1/4 or 1/2 inch, I would also ask what return pump you are using because each different nozzle has a certain required flow.

Max is 264 min is 105
I'd do double 1/4 random flow generators it can easily support 2 and that would help you aim your flow to where it is needed. Go to vivid aquatics and go to tank specifics, the fluval evo is on there it should tell you what adapter will work for it.

It doesn’t say anything about adapter it just shows the 1/4 loc line flow generator

Well if they say you don't need any adapters or anything like that then don't buy any. If you want to get double you will need the y connection, the loc line, and the 2 nozzles.

I have a 13.5 evo and use two 1/4 VCA random flow generators which snapped right onto the loc line the tank came with. I upgraded the pump to a Sicce 1.0 and the combo works great for me with no powerheads needed.
Hope this helps.

VCA recommend the single 1/2” for the Evo but they also say that twin 1/4” RFGs are ok. I use a single 1/2” with a Sicce 0.5.

The RFGs need to be clear of the surface or they will suck in air and people have had problems if not fitting them to genuine loc-line. I have 2 pieces of loc-line fitted to the supplied bulkhead fitting that comes with the Evo.

I am doing The same as you. Can you tell me what settings on the sicce you use. Thank you
