This will be an attempt to minimize extra spending (aka there better be a good reason to spend), and to have a slightly more suitable place for my two types of gorgonians and some zoas, as I do enjoy them and my currently main 3 gallon tank isn't the best place to show them off.

All the hardware (meaning light and pump) was from other projects that I already had. I cut a lid to get a reasonable cover over the tank- definitely not sealed, but does prevent a great deal of evaporation. The light is some Lumni gooseneck thing, and the pump is a 40 g/h fountain pump that has a diy multidirectional flow output. Seems to do a good job thus far- the flow is enough to bounce the output hose around slightly.

Planned corals include:
-'purple blade sea fan'
-'amber sea fan'
-purple Cespitularia
-'leopard mushroom'
-zoas. probably a fair amount of zoas

It's fair to say space is tight, but it should still be a better display area for the tall stuff than main tank.

Interesting project. Avoiding salinity swings could be key to success.
The coverage of the lid is good, so that's not a huge issue to me.

The real question would've been how long I could go before spending money. The answer of course being not even long enough to finish writing the first post. Darn you Tidal Gardens, I wasn't planning on a live sale! (And my distinct lack of impulse control)
