I have a Nuvo 30L and started with 2 Helfrichi Filefish and surprisingly the healthier (or what looked to be) of the two perished.
I added a replacement one from LiveAquaria who was bigger than the one in my tank and started to "herd" my original one/keep him close to their den which resulted in me not seeing my original more than 1-2x a day at feeding times but he was still able to get food and his fins were still perfect.
I got a little anxious that they wouldn't sort it out and after a few days pre-maturey pulled the trigger on LiveAquaria for a 3rd to hopefully disperse the perceived "aggression. Now I'm wondering what to do as the 2 in the tank are actually starting to get "comfortable" with each other (still not swimming together though) and the one I'm currently acclimating is noticeably smaller than both.
Any experience/thoughts on keeping multiple Helfrichis would be much appreciated!
