Thanks. It is a Centropyge venustus --- purple masked dwarf angel.
Nice anthias m&m. Love to have a pair some day.

Took me a few years to hunt down a pair, absolutely love them.
Awesome looking passer angel and leopard. How is the passer with your corals and other fish? Also, any clams in the DT with him? Trust me on the pics of the potters, I've got a very active one that runs with my tangs and pics just can't focus quick enough.
The passer has been good for a long time, with sps. However lately I have noticed him picking at the tips of especially my finer tipped pieces. He has nipped acans and a trachy so I removed those and never tested it before.... no clams but I wouldn't risk it, it is a large healthy fish and if it gets hungry it will go for whats there I'm sure
I agree. I'm hunting a large angel myself and that's a nice one. Even if I had to lose my 2 clams and 3 meat corals, it would be worth it. Thanks
Yeah I have tried 3 cameras and probably 10000 tries and never gotten anything I'd really consider decent from the potters pair. They are always moving, and have alot of quick motion.... its like they want me to look like a liar because I can't prove I have a sweet pair lol
I have even tried the autoset, sport mode on my nikon L120 which takes a series of quick pics and still have been unable to get a decent pic from the potters pair lol
First these two
Then I added a pair of venustus that were healthy for about 3 to 4 months and then
BOOM!!!! Tank crash! Now I'm down to two leopard wrasses! ***

My "centerpiece" fish would be my passer angel as it is the largest and most active. Followed by my 3 leopards (1 regular female, and a potters pair) which are my favorites that I own now.
