I have a 10-gallon tank that I'm going to turn into a quarantine tank. Im going to put some PVC pipe pieces in the bottom and possibly add a piece of egg crate and a coral light for coral quarantine. For the heater I was going to use a Fluval M50. Im not sure what to use for the light and filter. Also need some help picking out what medicine to get for it. I already have Kich Ich and Rally Pro. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as this is my first quarantine tank setup. Thank you!

what would be a good HOB or canister filter for a 10 gallon quarantine tank?

I used the Tidal 35 HOB filter for my 20 gallon QT setup. It works fine and isn't too expensive. I'm sure most HOB filters will do fine for this purpose. Somebody else might have a better recommendation.

Two more questions. What copper should you dose into quarantine tanks and do you need a copper test kit with it? Instead of using prazipro, would Rally pro do the same thing?

Copper Power is the copper treatment I've seen recommended the most. And yes you'll need to test your copper level to make sure it's in the therapeutic range. Especially since you'll need to be doing somewhat frequent water changes to keep the ammonia down. If the copper level drops below the suggested level it might not do what it's supposed to do. If the levels get too high that's not good either.

I'm not sure about Rally Pro.
