Just finish setting up the AI Director today, and was really impress how the technology in the aquarium trade has evolve today with the use of internet. I could still remember it was only like 2 year ago that my first controllable LED at that time was the latest technology in the market .

Basically, the AI director came only with a power cord, and a wireless adaptor.

Below is some of the screen shot of the director setup page when you login to the personal myaquaillution page.

Straight away when i login, it will prompt you to update the firmware for your director or your light wirelessly .

The setting up page for the different light setting throughout the day. With the AI Director, if you have different model of AI lighting like me, you will be able to set up different setting for each model of AI which the normal controller is unable to do so.

It take some try and error to catch the ideal setting especially for the tank espeically for SPS corals, as if you are not careful enough you might bleach the corals. After a few try and research on the internet which i got some data from, I adjust it to my tank height and coral placement. Never under estimated the power and intensity of LEDs nowsaday, as it can easily beat MH .

White : 65 %
Blue : 80 %
RB: 80%
DB : 80 %
Red: 30 %
Green : 30%
Violet : 30 %
UV : 20 %

Light is abut 18" above water level, and tank height is 18" . Ramp time 4 hour ( 11.30 - 3.30 pm )

We really have to be careful with the White, violet and UV setting not to ramp it too high as it can easily bleach your coral. I also discover that if the Red and Green setting was set too high, there is a problem with algae growth on the rock.

Anyone can also share what is the best lighting setting for their AI ?

This magnet is awesome. It can easily beat my old algae free magnet in term of it;s size and strength . Do remember to grab the algae cutting bag as well as it cut through the algae on the wall like a pcs of cake without leaving any scratches. I heard this bag was make by 3M but not sure how true it is.

I bough the underwater scratch repair kit as well but didnt have a chance to use it, and hopefully it stay this way :)

My P04 has been maintaining between 0.20 ~ 0.30, and my N03 level is less than 5 for the past few week and i decided to stop running my FR today to try to see if the system is able to sustain itself using purely Biopallet and refugium for nutrient export.

I also converted my " Cryptic Zone" tank into the second refugium since i find the benefit of having a second refugium out beat the benefit of having a cryptic zone instead.

Bought two set of the Jabeo dosing pump and trying it out. First look it seem like a almost 100% copy of another reputable German brand even the software look so similar.

Never expected that setting up of the dosing pump is so easy as compare to other china brand dosing pump which i tried. However, you really need to calibrate each pump before use as the default setting are all out... It even has a memory recall function when you off it. You can set daily or weekly dosing setting, so what more to ask for LOL..

The first dosing pump will be dosing mainly the Grotech Part A,B,C and M on a daily basis.

Drilling the cap for insetting the dosing tube

I custom made a acrylic rack earlier to cater for my dosing pump which i intend to buy earlier ,but ended up getting this so the second layer of the rack is too small to put the second unit.
