Exciting! Not to be a debby downer, but what you are undertaking is no simple task. 1000+ gallons of saltwater in a residence comes with its own hurdles. If I were you I would spend some time to make sure you are really ready for this commitment. It will definitely be a huge financial, mental, and physical commitment to maintain this system. Planning will be your best friend if you decide to go through and it would be advantageous to spend a significant time developing a working budget for the build, planning equipment and layout and preparing your home for a tank of this size. It will be tempting to jump right in, but if you take the time now to develop a game plan and ensure that this is feasible for you, you will have success and enjoy your new shark tank!
Exactly my words as before. Get all the help you can even after its built and stocked.

Yep, that's the plan.

Will do.

What's the latest on your tank build.
I've decided to start on building it in the garage, and keep it there until we do the house expansion. If I decide I really do want to put it in the room, I will go ahead with that, otherwise I'll just keep the tank in the garage. For the most part the tank itself is not started, but the pumps, filtration, skimmers, and other requirements are decided on. The issue is finding cheap glass, and I am actually looking into buying low iron float glass from construction companies or even China if nothing local works out. As soon as I get the glass, I will get started on the build and start posting fancy pictures. But dang the glass is going to be heavy x.x
