100G Shallow Peninsula - Innovative Marine

Glad to see this thread is still going. Tank looks great

Thanks!

Over the weekend I picked up an oompa loompa frag and monti spongodes frag while getting some frozen.

I also just ordered some new T5 bulbs. I originally ran 2 Coral Plus and 2 Blue Plus for awhile now I've been doing 4 Blue Plus and lately I've been thinking it's just a bit too blue and I find older photos of my tank more appealing. So I am going back to 2 of each.

Huh, thought this tank looked familiar while I was cruising around.

The frags are growing great, and our YT's are still due for their playdate!

Ha my 100g Innovative Marine or your 100g Innovative Marine for the first play date?

Hello Again! It's been 2 years!!! The tank has been through a lot. Way too many rescapes, a few lost fish and coral and the original plans have all but disappeared, it's just a nice mixed reef now.

Current Fish List: 2 Clowns, 1 Male Melanurus Wrasse, 1 Male Lyretail Anthias, 1 Blue Chromis, 1 Fire Fish and 1 Yellow Tang. Just picked up the biota tang a week ago and coloring up nicely so far!

This post is just coming back post and I will hoppppefully get back to posting more frequently!

Glad to see your tank is still up and running!

The new Coral Plus bulbs came in and I gotta say, I made the right choice! The spectrum now with the 2 Coral Plus and Blue Plus is lovely!

Sunny D is looking much more yellow with these as well!

Some more photos from today. Most of the red monti cap I had mixed in with a green one died off. So far have been able to save a small piece.

I also made one more rock adjustment and picked up a Nero 3 and moved my gyre vertical in the corner with one part pushing across the overflow and the other up the right side. Just trying to get better flow throughout the tank. Still a work in progress with settings.

Cleaner shrimp had their first customer very quickly!

Was busy with the reefs this weekend.

On the 100g, I pulled everything out from the stand, minus the sump. I cleaned up and redid all my wiring for the first time since setup. Preformed my normal 10g waterchange and finally got my old reactor set back up with some phosphate media. The hair algae just keeps coming back, so hoping this will help.

I have been loving this algae blenny as well, he's just a fun fish to watch and interact with.
