Alrighty! Had to take a little hiatus from the hobby. My family and I recently moved and there was a nice spot in my office for my 10g IM Nuvo fusion. I really wanted to go bigger but made a compromise to stick with my current tank for now lol.

Had an attempt with this system in the past and didnt have a good go last round. The tank was in my bedroom but later moved to my office. I don't know if I stirred the sand too much when moving to the different room or something like that, but all my corals died. So I gave away the fish and used it as a home for my son's toad lol. Going in for the long haul on this one so we're goin to be diligent.

Spent most of the day yesterday ordering more supplies and equipment. I also built the scape and today I put in the rockwork.

We have as follows:
IM Nuvo Fusion 10 aio
dry rock from previous builds
return pump that came with the tank (not sure of the brand)
RedSea LED 50
RedSea Reef Pro Mix
CaribSea Ocean Direct Caribbean Live Sand - 10lbs
Hygger UV light
AGGA gyre wavemaker

For filtration: First chamber will consist of filter floss, small rocks and ChemiPure Elite. Extra rocks in second chamber. Return chamber will hold heater uv light and of course the return pump.

Ordered new Filters for my RODI system (.
I'll get water in the tank tomorrow after I get it made.
Then begin the Dr. Tim's method cycle.

Some pics of the rock work in the meantime.

Used aquarium safe magnets to hold the rocks on the top.

Cool rock scape! Depending on stocking and bag size, the ChemiPure Elite may make your tank too clean. I typically use the Blue. Good luck with the build, and can't wait to see where you take this.

Forgot to post after I got sand and water in last Monday. Lights have been out since. I turned them on after some water testing today for a little bit. I’m really happy how this turned out. I have some ideas in terms of fish. A hectors goby, either a normal firefish or a purple firefish, court jester goby, and a possum wrasse. Still trying to think what I would like coral wise so any ideas would be clutch! I love acans, definitely an assortment of zoas, and some other softies.

I also ditched the gyre and got this
Amazon product
I really liked the gyre but it was a little too powerful in my tank. If I had a bigger build I would have kept it. This pump is awesome as well, nice and small and has great flow for what I need.

Your tank looks amazing @X-37B! I was thinking a birdsnest to go up there and some encrusting sps. I also love millepora. Not sure I want to get that into the sticks though lol

The tank is coming along! It's been cycled (fishless) over five weeks. Added the only fish thats goin to be in here, a Tailspot Blennie, and a Purple Firefish. As well as a Gold Hammer Euphillia and a Duncan. Got these from the LFS. There's also a couple hermit crabs wondering about. Won't add snails just yet, until i see more algae. The UV sterilizer has been helping keep the algae away. All in all off to my best start yet out of all my builds. The wife even let me move the tank to the living room lol.
I did end up taking the magnets off the top rock. While I was doing a water change the rock fell and I didn't want to damage future corals so I removed the magnets and placed it on the top of my scape. Im actually happier with the way it looks. I may add some gsp to the back wall.
Here's some pics of the tank so far!

Also made a few purchases during the last @WWC Firesale and I'm really excited for when my order comes through. Going to make a nice zoa garden on the left side of the rockwork. Here's some pics of what I got.
