So, yesterday a shipment arrived at my house, it was a tank i ordered a few days before, it came with the return pump, skimmer and heater, it is a 35cm cube, identical to a waterbox cube 10, this is my first ever tank and i would love to hear your suggestions to get started into this amazing hobby.

Good luck with your build!

Following along!

yesterday i bought a big 6kg or 12lb fossil reef rock, it had all sorts of leftover coral skeletons and everything, today i spend the whole day breaking it up and making the hardscape, id say the results were pretty good

I still have to soak in bleach this rock because it came from a real reef i think, so in case there is organic matter decomposing deep inside, i will do that and then let it dry and declorinate it with aquarium waterconditioner.

thats a nice rock i love what you came up with, following along cant wait to see it up and running. ill be starting my 15gal aio soon as well! good luck

i transfered the rock structure to the tank just to see if it would fit, made some small adjustments, it is temporary as i placed some cardboard under the rocks to protect the glass, after i clean the rocks i will replace it with a plastic grid or eggcrate to prevent cracks. I am curious though, what corals should i place here once i fill up the tank now that i have the hardscape done? View attachment 4528056
