Here is a fun tank my company is wrapping up. It's the largest single pane glass tank in North America I am aware of. 204"x36"x36" there is a remote filter room with UV, Ozone, heavy skimming, and approximately 850 gallons of additional water. thanks for viewing -Brad

Very nice. I wouldn't mind working there!
What thickness is that glass? Who built it?

Unloaded, inspected, lifted to second story, set, leveled, and protected so construction could continue and I could sleep.... Well at least until fish were swimming. I flew to Dallas to inspect the tank full of water prior to shipping.

This was wrapping up the upstairs suspended steel frame for the canopy, epoxy paint, HVAC, and electrical prior to the mill skinning it. The tank does not support anything above it. A giant steel cage was engineered and designed to hover above the tank to hold the weight of the canopy enclosure. It also has its own HVAC controls to maintain humidity and temperature.

Awesome to see all of those fish in that tank. I would love a tank that big. At least up until clean up time.

I've always wondered what a display that size cost. Just the tank. I've never called to get a quote because I wouldn't want to waste anybody's time just for my curiosity.

Cheers to you for respecting the time/cost of companies resources for curiosity sake.

All trades / equipment / labor etc. (electrical, engineers, architects, glazers, special handling, plumbing, designers, millwork, and the list goes on and on.) This's will be well over 150k prior to livestock. The tank cost once freight, crate, handling etc (True costs after its placed) is around 40k + for just the glass and stand. If it had to be done again all parties involved prob would raise the price.. lots of logistics that are very easy to overlook when handling a piece of glass that large and keep it from twisting. A surprisingly tremendous amount of man hours and past learning curves to install and design the job.
