Crazy comedy of errors day trying to make the fuge drains even quieter only to make them way worse. Better now but opfffhhh what a fiasco. Additionally the display is shut down again because the phantom leak returned on the supply- lots more silicone. Here’s a video from last night. I can’t wait to start transferring!

Looks fantastic. Almost there! Curious to see if you have an ugly phase with all live rock that’s been cooking and the fuge.
Don’t believe I will, or if I do it will be short. The fuge is tied into the sump which in turn is tied into my 50 stock tank life support. That is 1year+ established so it’s like doing a large water change. Time will tell. I also broke in the bioreactor and skimmer well prior to connecting the tank.

All of the livestock has been moved into the tank. The stock tank will remain as support for several weeks. The tank room will look much better once it’s gone and the wires are tidied up. Today I lowered the light 6.5 inches(an ordeal to say the least), and I added the AI Prime I had over the stock to the front of the tank so as to add some shimmer. While my plan was to have the light higher than typically seen to maximize spread, I realized with the tank in place it was just a bit TOO high. Light spill and some softies reaching for the light confirmed this. I think the new height hits the balance between spread and penetration. With the sweet spot out of the way, here’s a video from tonight. I’ve dreamt of a true walk around tank. Our house is just too small for a true walk around, so a four side viewable, near full walk around is the only option. Ironically, in some ways it’s more elegant as I’m not a fan of a center overflow, so in this orientation the scape comes to life in full view. I hope everyone is enjoying my tank as much as I’m enjoying creating it.
