Are you using both the gyre and the MP together ?

Yes and here is why I do. The Gyre has great flow in one direction. Yes it does go in reverse but its very weak. Not what I would call good flow at all. If you always are moving water in one direction waste and others things will get caught on something and will stay there. I have the vortech going the other direction to help with that issue also the coral will get a mix of different currents.

Good idea. I ran the gyre for a little while and that was my biggest issue. Wound up going back to my mp40s. Never tried using a mix of the two
