12 line wrasse hiding ?

I bought a 12 line wrasse in Austin yesterday and travelled 5 hours home and as soon as I put him in the display tank 10 minutes later I can’t find him and I haven’t seen Him for 12 hours is this normal

He’s probably adjusting my wrasse hid for several days when I was around

yes, alot of wrasse, jump into the sand, mine sleeps in the sand everynight and also jumps in when i do maintenance, however one time i thought he was in the sand for two days and found him in my filter chamber
