12 yr old Tomato Clown

I bought a 12yr old tomato clown from a buddy of mine that was tearing down his tank. I have a 20g long tank and its turned black due to stress of changes. I was thinking of getting frozen food supplement and a nice growth of pulsing xenia for her to host in. Would the xenia over whelm my tank or should i be okay? I also have 2 hippos in with her.

yea i know but they are small still so im good for about a year or so
