I am going to have to come over and check this tank out soon.. many pretty corals in there..
Thank you... Let's give it a few weeks as things are pretty dull right now due to just upgrading to the calcium reactor. After that you can come check it out anytime you would like!

Nice looking foxface. Maybe one day will get a bigger tank for some more colorful tangs or foxface.

I hear ya. I'm lucky enough that I have people in mind to adopt the big boys out to when the outgrow the 120.

Is that some type of trigger fish in there too? Ever had problems with him & corals?
Yep, that's a Niger Trigger. No problems with corals at all that I've seen. Just invertebrates... He had an expensive lunch one day when he ate both of my fire shrimp that were each bigger than him! Oh well, I'd rather have a trigger than some shrimp...

Hey Brad!

A lot yet nothing; if that makes sense! lol

Coral wise I am at my stocking limits in my opinion. So not much new there other than letting things grow in. The tank has been doing "ok", not great, but not bad. I changed over to a calcium reactor several months back and I think I've finally got it dialed in. The corals were pale so I removed all the chaeto from the sump and a lot of the colors have come back. Just been trying to find the happy balance of some phosphate/nitrates in the tank without too much!

Fish wise, I had to catch the Niger Trigger and get rid of him because he was the death of many of my fish. I decided to go on a fish catching spree and revamp the stocking list. So I ended up catching my Blue Eye Kole which just got replaced with a Yellow Eye Kole which was in QT for 45 days. I caught 2 of the 3 orange striped cardinals as I think they ate my shrimp that I added after I took the Trigger out. Still need to work on catching the last one. I have an Atlantic Blue Tang showing up tomorrow which will get QT'd for at least 30 days. I need to decide if I will be done stocking fish then, or add a group of Chromis or something. I need to see how the tank adapts to having 2 tangs again.

Other than that; I've got to either start dosing Calcium or Kalk but haven't decided what to help keep up with the Calcium demand even though I'm running a Cal Rx. Yes, I know a Cal Rx is more like dosing ALK than CAL...

I've got a new light coming in the near future which will incorporate LED's and T5's. Just waiting for it to become available from a local reefer who is upgrading!

I'll try and post some pics soon. I was just thinking the other day that I needed to. Thanks for stopping by!

Not a problem for bumping the thread. Definitely looking forward to pics. I'm revamping my stocking list too since the loss of my fish, just thankful I've still got the fowleri.

Yeah, that fish is awesome. You've got to get another Regal though so that I can keep checking up on it as I can't have one. lol

I'll try and get some pics up in the next week or so. We have a houseful coming due to Thanksgiving so it probably won't be this week. Have yourself a great Thanksgiving!

I was considering a majestic, blue face or king angel this time. I miss my regal though and they're easy to find these days. You have a safe and great Thanksgiving as well
