Converted a friends freshwater tank to saltwater. Live sand and live rock bought from his son’s fish store along with most of the needed equipment. Have dealt with just about every type of algae there is and It is slowing going away. Was using Vibrant which seemed to work, but left an outbreak on red cyano. Used Chemiclean to rid most of the Cyano. My biggest problem stems from the room under the tank in the convert stand. Presently have 3 pajama fish, 3 blue reef chromis, blue kole tang, sailfin tang, 2 gladiator clowns, tail spot blenny, black sailfin blenny and a midas blenny. 4 acropora added last week along with torch, trachy, acan, montipora and 2 different zoas that have been around for awhile.
