I was finally able to move into my new house and am in the process of setting my 120 up again after storing it for almost a year. I was fortunate enough to be able to afford a few upgrades this time and have a new stand, new lights, and an Apex. I've been working on it for a few weeks but there's still a lot more I want to do. I think the clownfish and the corals are happy to be back in it after living in my old biocube while our house was being built

Can you explain what going on on the right hand side of the sump with the pvc? I’ve never seen anything like that.
It's a bubble trap that I came up with a few years ago, the 1" drain feeds through a bushing into the 1 1/2" sanitary tee and wye that's upside down. All the bubbles from the drain stay inside of it and are vented through the vinyl tubing coming through the hole in the cap (I got the idea for the capped pipe with the vinyl tube by looking at the silencer on my skimmer) the result is zero bubbles in my sump and it's nearly silent
