Finally, I found a 120g for a used price $200.
She’s the ugliest most beautiful thing I have ever laid eyes on. I’m going to strip the two overflows, add a ghost overflow and oh so much more to get this one wet again. I decided to put my money towards reputable equipment, instead of the glass box. (Good timing considering frameless tanks are losing fashion, dang you Red Sea.)
My previous tank was a cadlight 60g and just a frameless beauty. That tank grew coral but limped by with basic equipment. (Lighting,Powerheads, manually dosing) Time to flourish and establish a low maintenance 120g for this reefer.

You've got Mad heads of that.

First step, stop using bone cutters. Dremel with a metal cutoff wheel for the win. Just pulled 3 dead heads from a hammer that got torched. I didn't even take it out of the water. Precision is unmatched and will never crush the skeleton.

Agreed. Frammer. The dots going up the tents kick it off.
But I think that’s nutrient dependent. I ran higher phos in that tank. Almost every tip had a shape but now they’re more round. I think they’ll change a bit in your guys tanks too. I’m really interested in that part, seeing how my old coral react to different environments

He tells me a week later to “try this” which was a tracking number going to someone in Montana hah

My this be my last bone cutter victim
image.jpg

corals are so tough. This thing is split down the center top to bottom longways. Still it extends just a bit to survive. I’d flip it up to show you guys but I think it’s stands the best chance left alone there.
