Finally, I found a 120g for a used price $200.
She’s the ugliest most beautiful thing I have ever laid eyes on. I’m going to strip the two overflows, add a ghost overflow and oh so much more to get this one wet again. I decided to put my money towards reputable equipment, instead of the glass box. (Good timing considering frameless tanks are losing fashion, dang you Red Sea.)
My previous tank was a cadlight 60g and just a frameless beauty. That tank grew coral but limped by with basic equipment. (Lighting,Powerheads, manually dosing) Time to flourish and establish a low maintenance 120g for this reefer.

Today’s 120g specs!

Nice build! It's great seeing older boxes brought back to life by a passionate reefer!

Like you, I went cheaper on the glass box (Aqueon) and spent those extra dollars on critical components and contents.

My coral and fish don't seem to mind that the 180 was under $900 brand new.
If on a good level stand, even tanks made in 2011 (bought new then) will be fine. Sometimes the off the shelf tanks work just great. Plus I am cheap, so you know.

@NowGlazeIT the tank is looking good and awesome job on bringing things back to life.

That’s the way! I’ve seen your tank and I couldn’t tell you if it was made of glass or plastic because all I saw was coral….coral everywhere

I've still got my 120G RR tank and stand sitting up on the landing.

My oldest son: " Why don't you send me the pictures and information on this and I'll post it on Facebook for you"

Me "No thanks, I may need that for coral overflow at some point"

Him: "isn't that what your frag tank is for?"

Me: "Shut up!"

You need a fish barn!!!!!!!!

It is also tax deductible, if you work out of it. Just put printer in between some tanks a desk with computer somewhere and the whole space is now considered a "home office". You can also make a small closet and stroe some work supplies in there for added reassurance it will be fine in an audit.

... My home office already stores the frag tank, quarantine tanks, and mechanical system for the 180..

Maybe I should just nail the door shut, and come in and out through the window. Does that make it a dedicated office?

Per tax law, it would, as it only has a single way in/out and not through your house.

And this is why you're Excellent
You could also throw a kilowatt on that circuit and claim the electricity used. Too hard to factor in the heat/cooling unless you had a window unit to measure.

The "comfort companion" part might get a tad tricky, but easily provable with a letter from the VA.

OK, I will stop now lol.

Buy low, sell high, don't trade short term, don't look at your holdings often, when there's blood on Wall Street, buy the most dejected index!

Sounds like good advice. Ok - where do I start?

By making it automatic. Contribute $x monthly automatically. Dollar cost average (buying automatically at set intervals no matter what the fund is doing) into a highly rated (will probably not have the best performance) mutual fund who's investment objective and risk tolerance align with yours.
