Wow i think this is my favorite set up ive seen on this site what are the 2 identical pieces on the right? The cut of oz pieces?

Wow thanks a lot [emoji106]
Yes those 2 are Aussie pieces I picked up awhile back. Far right is Aussie del fuego and next to it is a prostrata. I'll try and get some pics of what they look like now in the display.

If you don't mind me asking... where do you get your colonies?
I get them from a LFS before they get cut up for frags.

What frag tank is that?

It's a AIO 36"x20"x8" made by aqualine

Well my ORA joe the coral colony decided to RTN on me over the last 2 days cut a few frags off hoping they would make it but nothing left of them by time I got home from work. Ran threw all the tests and nothing was out of my normal range. Just chalk it up as a loss and move on keeping a close eye on everything else.
RIP joe the coral

Does your little son love the tank? Got back into the hobby when my son was 11 but he never has shone an interest. He even said he doesn't like the tank.

So beautiful great job, thanks for sharing

I have been lucky and all my kids have enjoyed the tanks. My youngest is the lucky one that gets to go to all The LFS during the week while my older 2 are out school.
It is very hard to keeps kids interested in anything that not electronic and in there face at all times. And they older the get the harder it becomes. Some of my best memories of my childhood is going to the local shops with my father and helping him with the various FW tanks he had. I try to do the same with my kids and nurture any interest the show with my tanks answering the endless questions that they come up with.

Well the 2 part I have been dosing has getting a bit out of hand so finally set up a Ca reactor that I got in a trade with a local member tanks matt[emoji6]

It's a GEO 618 that I modified with a larger DC circulation pump to hopefully increase its capacity. Being feed from a small pump now but will eventually be feed off the manifold. The effluent is going directly into my cheato Fuge to scrub off any excess Co2 and promoted better cheato growth at least that's my theory. I am slowly bringing it online and decreasing the 2-part hoping to keep everything stable fingers crossed.

Beautiful tanks! I seen you say you feed 6 - 10 cubes of food a day plus pellets. What are the levels of your no3 and po4?
