120w reef filtration light review

Hi,

I'm looking at some Led light from my 120g. It's 4x2x2 and I was looking into the 120w light from reef filtration and was wondering if anyone has used this light? I have a mixed reef and want to know of this light can support clams and other corals that require a lot of light. The unit has 3w
Epistar diods. If there is another brand that you Gus recommend for a
Mixed reef for my size tank any advise would be appreciated.

I have the reef filtration lights, and love it, growing sps and zoas very quickly, with excellent coloration

15.75" x 8.5" Also, I'm using one fixture over a 36"x18" with lower light corals on the edges as some, ie chalice, was bleached directly under the fixture, but everything is growing very well.

I love my reeffiltration led my corals have been growing & getting alot more color since I added the led a few months ago sps only tank you will love this light!

I have the 14k model over my 45 gal frag tank and it is doing well. I was looking to put two over my 120 gal, same dimension as yours, but probably going with 20k for the display. Just hanging around hoping for a dimming model to come out. Since I just changed the T-5 bulbs on my display, so I am good for awhile, but $160 for new bulbs surely makes me think about these fixtures.

I have the 20k on my 50g cube. Nice light. Great color and really only bought it to use until I got a AI. But Now I am in no hurry to get rid of it.

I just want to make sure that im buying a good light to keep my acans, bubble coral, some chalices and shrooms etc going strong. Lighting isnt really my specialty so I really appreciate all the input. If this light will damage any of the corals i mentioned above please let me know.

Hi guys, thanks for the positive reviews, if i had a problem i'd be on it! Dagrinch, for acan's, chalice and shrooms i would keep them around 24-30" below the fixture as thats where they are getting there best colors and growth. SPS 20" or less below the fixture. Overall for the price, color and warranty they are pretty good, but there are alot of nice led fixture's out there these days. Just do your research and make sure your happy with what you decide on.

Orlando thanks for the pics! Your using a diff picture though, which will smoke most acans and chalice! The latest 20k pulls around 255 par at 24", the orlando fixture pulls about 200 at that depth. His fixture's are very intense!
