125 gallon no center brace?

Picked up a older 125 gallon tank the other day to use as a sump for my 180.
Tank was little beat up but holds water. The plastic trim on top was beat and falling off and since it did not have a brace I decided to take it all off. Anyone are any problems with this?

I will but in glass dividers in the sump so I think they will help give some bracing.

I'd be worried about the corners. The top brace is also there for a reason. Maybe the baffles will be enough.

Yea not to sure the bracing was 4 separate pieces there was done kind of tape band around it but it was already half off. Maybe I need to get what ever tape that is and re silicone the top?

If I did nothing but install 3 strips,1/4 " thick by 2' wide by outside glass dimension front to back,one on each end one in the middle,sorta a semi euro. barce.Thats what did on a 120 and it's like a rock plus no light shadowing,just seed for thought bro.

Yea I could, but even with the Frame on the tank it never had a center brace.
