I am currently in the process of building my stand for my 125 gallon tank with 40 gallon (B) sump as the stand that came with my tank will not fit my sump. This is my first time ever building a stand. Been out of the Hobby for about 10 years and ready to get back in to things. I will be framing this out of 2x6 and using 3/4" birch plywood across the top and also for the skin. I will be using 8x2-1/2" power pro Exterior screws. The dimensions of the stand will be 72x25x35.

Most likely lol. I also added diagonal supports to the back and sides. The 125 is home to 2 fw oscars and some firemouth cichlids. In the process of transferring them to a temporary holding tank and move my 75g saltwater into the 125 then the oscars are going to the 75.
